Here's How I Get 415k Clicks From Pinterest......

My journey to recovering lost traffic and finding a new goldmine.

If you've been following me on X, you know I love talking about passive income streams.

But here’s a little secret I haven't spilled yet—1 of my biggest passive income successes came from a place I never expected……. AND it’s PINTEREST!

415k Pinterest Clicks (Case Study)

I have a story for you today…

Over the last 8 months, my humble Pinterest account, barely 1.5 years old, exploded with 415k clicks in the MENTAL HEALTH niche.

Curious to know how I did it? Grab your favorite snack, get comfy, and let me take you on this wild journey of pins and a whole lot of fun!

Spoiler alert: It involves a sprinkle of strategy, a dash of creativity, and a lot of pinning.

Quick Stats:

  1. Account Age: 1.5 Years

  2. Total Articles: 233

  3. Total Pins: 1456

  4. CTR: ~3.5%

  5. Total Revenue: $35k

You might be wondering, why did I suddenly get serious about Pinterest for this website? Well, grab another snack because this part of the story is a rollercoaster.

One fine morning, I woke up to find that crazy Google had slashed my traffic by about 50%. Yes, you read that right—50%! My heart sank faster than a lead balloon. All the hard work, the late nights, the meticulous SEO... gone in a blink.

I had been casually pinning on Pinterest, but this Google update was my wake-up call. It was time to take Pinterest seriously. And I mean, seriously.

So, what did I do? I optimized my Pinterest account like never before. I started pinning 20 to 25 pins daily. Yup, every single day. It was like watering a plant—tedious at times, but boy, did it pay off.

Two months later, something magical happened. My pins started taking off, and I was getting 600 to 700 clicks daily. It was like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert.

What Pinterest Favours?

Many talk about volume—pushing out a ton of low-quality pins. Sure, that might work in some cases, but let's be real: you won’t win in the long run with that strategy!

I prefer high-quality pins. They bring me around a 2.5% CTR. Quality over quantity, every time.

Optimization is ALWAYS THE KEY….

You need to optimize your Pinterest account properly. Start with a keyword-optimized profile bio according to your niche. Your boards should also be keyword-optimized.

For example, if you're in the home decor niche, your boards should look like this:

  1. Bedroom Ideas

  2. Kitchen Ideas

  3. Home Office Idea

  4. So on…..

You can even create sub-boards like Teen Bedroom Ideas or Male Bedroom Ideas.

Keep it simple, keep it targeted, and watch your Pinterest game soar!

Keywords are good, but don't overthink them on Pinterest. Interest is key here. If someone is into home decor, they want to see everything—as long as your pin and title are catchy.

Focus on creating high-quality pins with intuitive, clickbait titles like "21 Tiny Living Room Ideas That Will Blow Your Mind."

Content is king on every platform, including Pinterest. You need to create high-quality articles.

Here’s the algorithm secret: if a user visits your article and finds it informative, they’ll come back to save or repin it. This engagement pushes your pins up in the algorithm.

However, if your article isn’t good, users might visit your site but won’t engage with your pin, causing it to fade away.

A good quality pin can urge users to visit your article, but a good quality article is essential for high rankings.

For that reason, we offer content writing services as part of our Pinterest SEO Management Services. We focus on top-notch pins and high-quality content to boost your success.

BE VERY CAREFUL…..

Now, with the latest Google updates, everyone’s trying to jump into the Pinterest market.

Pinterest, on the other hand, is cracking down on spam with their updates. New automation tools are creating hundreds of pins, and Pinterest is on the lookout for this spam.

So, here’s the deal: don’t push too many pins from a new account. You need to “warm up” your account first.

Create your account, set up boards, and save other people’s pins to your boards. In the first week, don’t pin your articles.

Start from the second week with just 2 pins daily. After 20-30 days, you can increase to 5-10 pins daily.

Here are the #10 Common Mistakes that beginners make!

Keep it natural and don’t spam the system.

The most asked question!

"How many pins should we create for the same URL, and how often should we post it?" The answer is simple—don’t use the same URL over and over again.

Keep things natural. If you have 100 articles and you’re posting 10 pins daily, you’ll use the same URL every 10 days.

So, focus on increasing the number of blog posts you have.

Pin Design - Most Important Factor (Power of HOOK)

The hook is the most important part of your image design. First, you need to stop the user in their tracks.

Your pin design should make the scroller STOP. Go for a minimalist yet striking approach—the text has to be visible, and your main text should be the most visible.

Think of it this way: your text should be so clear that a user can see it from 100 miles away! (Okay, maybe not 100 miles, but you get the idea). Use stunning fonts and the perfect color combination.
